Getting Started
Helping your loved one begin — a simple, no-pressure conversation.
Step 1 — Reach out
Email us at contact@TheCenterofBalance.com or fill out the contact form. We'll get back to you within one business day to schedule the initial assessment for your loved one.
Step 2 — The balance assessment
The first visit is a 60–90 minute one-on-one assessment. We'll cover your loved one's medical history, medications, any recent falls or near-falls, and what they'd like to get back to doing. Their coach then guides them through a series of gentle, safe balance and gait tests.
Step 3 — A personalized plan
Together we'll build a plan that addresses your loved one's specific risk factors — physical, environmental, and lifestyle. If STEADY is a good fit, we'll walk through what the next 8 weeks look like.
Step 4 — Begin
Sessions are typically twice weekly. Progress is tracked visit-to-visit, and (with your loved one's permission) shared with their physician and family.
